– California brome (Bromus carinatus) one of our native grasses, is blooming yellow. A perennial bunchgrass, it is easy to establish and fast to grow.

– Silver lupine (Lupinus albifrons), a large shrub, is blooming purple in meadows on the ridge.

– Sky lupine (Lupinus nanus), a field dwarf lupin, is blooming royal blue in meadows on the ridge.

– Striped coralroot (Corallorhiza striata) an orchid, is blooming in forests. Last seen blooming in Homestead in 2021.

– Thimbleberry (Rubus parviflorus) a deciduous shrub, is blooming with white flowers in forests.
